So what is the deal with these kids turning every networking website into a dating site?
I got on my facebook this past weekend and was checking out my friends' little sister's page and when i looked at it, her info was talking about what she is looking for in a man and everything about he page was suggestive that she wants to get a date.
Last time I checked facebook and myspace was not E-Harmony and if you kids...and yes i mean you 14-19 year olds are kids...are looking for someone, go to the movies, park, sports events, dance clubs and all that good stuff not facebook and myspace. Cyber dating is trouble for adults and even more trouble for teens

Next- Dateline: How to catch a predator blog edition,
Seriously kids stop advertising yourselves on social networks
- Speed Dating applications on facebook
Here i found 1,500+ users mostly teens and adults 35+ using this application. I am just wondering how many adult find themselves talking to children on here with no regard for their age.

I agree with you completely. My sister's 16, and I would freak if I found out some thirty year old guy was sending her emails, wanting to "get to know her." She looks like she's my age...
I agree completly with you on this, wats really sad in this world is that people really do that and its sick...old men and women talking and looking at todays youth its a real shame.

I agree, but I don't really know what they can do about it without requiring personal info or worse. I have a cousin on myspace and she uses it for that in a round about way, she says it is just in case people are there for mate searching (as she calls it) Of course I don't believe any site should exist for hookups it is too risky and just stupid!
Nice hub jrosemond. I've noticed that too. It's a little disturbing when you think about it, I mean...what ever happened to meeting someone at school, at work, in the mall, at a dance, or just simply around the way. We have to find cyber dates now? What's up with that? Poor little guys, they have to compete for the girl next door with some guy 4 states away that has posted a fake picture of a model from Brazil on his facebook profile. LOL
i 20 and had some 12 year old girl trying to get at me it was fucked up.........i agree with u
